With his own hands, my father built a small cabin in the municipality of Telemark, Norway. For this reason, the mountains in the area is often visited by my family and me. We go there all year except the hottest summer period. All seasons have something special to offer, and personally I like autumn very well. The air is fresh, heather and shrubs changing colors and if you are lucky there are berries to pick.
A short drive from our cabin are a number of smaller peaks that are suitable for a day trip. The weather was great and my two girls and I decided to climb one of them. Here is our autumn hike.
