On my way to "The Pulpit Rock" some weeks ago I took a detour from the main road to visit Lindesnes. Lindesnes is located at the southernmost tip of mainland Norway and the oldest lighthouse in the country is stationed there.
Lindesnes lighthouse was as first lit in year 1655 and got a interesting history. During WW2 the Germans established themselves there as the location where an important watchpoint of the coastline. The German devastation is visible and there are many trenches and tunnels in the area.
Since I had a long drive in front of me I didn't have a lot of time exploring but I got the sunset.
